Lois Augusta Robinson to Donald and Elsie Lerch, November [1956]

Robinson, Lois Augusta

A letter from Lois to her parents, Donald and Elsie, mentioning the torential rains they've been having, describing a visit by a group of women who visited the family at the house and then went out to the school only to be trapped by mud on the way back and needed rescuing, mentioning her preparations for the Women's Society and the Thanksgiving service, sharing about a large ham they received from the Agricultural School which she cooked, and mentioning that some family friends stayed with the family and have had to wait for a boat to come pick them up since the river has flooded over the bridge out of town.
