Text
Meditations and observations upon the eleventh and twelfth verses of the sixth chapter of Solomon's song : written, if the Lord please, for the encouragement of the saints, when under seeming contrary providences, to faithful promises : to which are added motives offer'd to the consideration of a believer, to deter him from sin : causes of sinful anger: to be watch'd against by all that are Christ's, who would crucify the flesh, with the affections thereof : the guilt of a believer's departing from God : and some thoughts about sin and holiness propos'd to the consideration of the dear saints by a sinner sav'd to be an heir of Heaven, that deserves to be a firebrand of Hell.
