Additional Details: Inscription on title page (18th century): Conventus S. Wenceslai Egrensis Sacri O:[rdinis] Praedicatorum (Dominican Convent St. Wenceslas in Eger, modern day Cheb, Czech Republic). Inscription in a 16th century hand on upper flyleaf, recording flooding in the city of Chemnitz, 1563 (1563 dinstack in der pfingstwoch [1. Juni 1563] ist das grose waser gebest [= gewest] zu kempnitz das hatt grosen schaden gethann). The same hand records the death of a Caspar Schreiber. A probable later relative by the same name was on the city council in Chemnitz and in 1632 prevented the city from being plundered during the 30 Years' War.
